Brett King, MA LPC NCC MFTC

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a helper. Because we all need a little help sometimes. Even as a teenager and young adult, my heart was happiest when I could help someone learn to read. Or ski. Play in instrument. Ride a bike. Or anything else that helped someone grow and learn and heal. That joy took me on a professional journey into education. Then counseling.

In the 1st half of my career as a teacher and school leader working with children and teenagers, I discovered that families matter. Parents matter. Couples matter. The quality of relationships with those closest to us often determine the quality of our lives. When those relationships aren't working quite as we had hoped, or have been damaged, we can lose hope. I know. That's why I've dedicated the 2nd half of life to helping men, couples, and families thrive. Because we all need a little help sometimes. Help to experience restoration of what may have been lost. Or broken. Or help to discover the path not yet taken.
